Site Design Stormwater Engineer

Job Summary:

Company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Site Design Engineer. As a Civil Site Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and development of civil engineering projects, with a focus on site development and infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in creating sustainable and efficient designs that meet regulatory requirements while ensuring the highest level of safety and functionality.

Responsibilities:

Site Planning, Design and Engineering:

• Develop comprehensive site design plans, including grading, stormwater, utilities, and roadways, using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
  
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes in all design work.
  
• Perform hydraulic and hydrological calculations to design effective stormwater management systems.
  
• Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate site design with overall project objectives.
  
• Perform design reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety in all site plans.
  
• Address and resolve design-related issues during the construction phase.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil site design and engineering.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
  
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
