Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Advises, consults and serves as a member of the management team in the development and execution of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals, acquisitions, strategic planning and growth objectives.
  • Evaluates and analyzes the Benefits and Compensation Programs and services regularly and systematically; reports these results in addition to other management reporting such as benefit loss and claims control, budgets, special projects, market competitiveness, etc.
  • Reviews and analyzes the benefits market to determine employee needs, trends, regulations and practices, and develops competitive programs and services to meet company goals.
  • Plans and directs the implementation and administration of benefits programs designed to ensure employees against loss of income due to illness, injury or retirement.
  • Directs preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits programs such as insurance plans, pension plans, 401(k), life and special employer-sponsored plans.
  • Ensures the filing of all 5500s and oversees ERISA Audit.
  • Engage with senior management to establish Benefit and Compensation Programs that influence employee retention and attract top talent.
  • Ensure that all Benefit and Compensation Programs are in compliance with all legal and government regulations.
  • Serve as Company s Benefit and Compensation Subject Matter Expert.
  • Plans the modification of existing benefits programs.
  • Directs support functions in providing customer service, information records, claims, etc.

Requirements

  • 10+ to 15 years experience-Seniority Level - Mid-Senior
  • Minimum Education - Bachelors Degree
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional ability of establishing and maintaining partnerships with company executives, management.
  • Skilled in the collection, analysis and determination of market salary and total compensation data.
  • Creative thinker who can provide strategic thought leadership, think analytically, and solve complex issues.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects from concept to finish.
  • Ability to communicate with impact utilizing exceptional verbal, written, presentation, & persuasion speech.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
