Job Description

We believe in the power of teamwork and invest in the success of our employees. We are seeking a dynamic Construction Project Engineer in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to join our esteemed clients team. The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma with a College Degree preferred in Construction Management or a related discipline, coupled with a minimum of one year of experience in construction management within an A/E/C firm, including internships.


Requirements

High School diploma, or equivalent; College Degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of work experience, including at least 1 year of Construction experience in a similar role with large project experience, including internships or as a craft professional.
BA/BS/AS or other accredited degree may substitute for up to 4 years of experience.
Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical-thinking abilities.
Proficiency in Construction software, including Project Management tools (Pro-core preferred), Microsoft Suite, Accounting (Sage preferred), Scheduling (Asta or Project preferred), Modeling (Revit), and PDF Editing (Bluebeam).
Basic knowledge of contract administration, Requests for Information, Schedule of Values, preparation, and adjustment to monthly billings, and preparation of bar chart schedules including predecessors, successors, constraints, float, and lags.
Basic knowledge of AIA Contract(s): A401, A121, A111.
