Job Description

We are recruiting for a full-time Safety Coordinator based in Salisbury, MD. You must be able to commute daily to Salisbury, MD and relocation assistance would be provided. You must be a U.S. citizen or have a green card to be considered.

The ideal candidates will have at least 3 years experience working as a Safety person in a manufacturing environment.




Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in industrial health or hygiene, safety science, business administration or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in safety or EHS role in a manufacturing environment. Metals industry experience preferred.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude; attention to detail; ability to use calipers.
  • OSHA certified trainer and/or Red Cross CPR first aid trainer certifications highly preferred
  • Preferred Certificates/Licenses/Registration: Powered industrial equipment, Hazmat, Wastewater
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of security principles in a manufacturing facility
  • Flexibility to work with teams on 2nd or 3rd shift as needed.
