Plant Staff Accountant

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a Plant Staff Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for a broad range of accounting activities with the accounting team. As our Plant Staff Accountant you will be recording transactions, reviewing summay information, analyzing data, and communicating with internal and external customers. This will be a direct hire opportunity with great benefits. This job will pay $65,000-$70,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Create financial report for corporate reporting
• Forecasting,budgeting, and provide variance analysis
• Research and resolve financial discrepancies
  
• Revew purchase orders to manage departmental spending
  
• Assist the team as needed with receivables, payables, cash collections, capital reporting, etc
  
• Participate in improvement projects and assist with project improvements
