Responsibilities:
- Field Service, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical industrial equipment issues, repair and install all equipment sold by the Client at customer s site.
- Provide electrical and mechanical technical help via phone and e-mail. Help within the Parts Department.
- Travel when requested, via air travel and locally via auto. Approximately 50% local or overnight travel within the USA.
- Company van is provided.

Functions and Tasks:
- Electrical troubleshoot and repair all equipment sold by the Client
- Mechanical troubleshoot and repair all equipment sold by the Client
- To provide all technical service and support in a timely manner and in accordance with established company protocols.
- Sell Preventive Maintenance Contracts
- Sell Recommended Spare Parts
- Install all equipment sold by the Client
- Commission / Demo all the Client equipment
- Proper paper work must be filled out and completed prior to leaving the job-site.
- Technical phone and e-mail support
- Parts processing when available

Education And/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field required with 8 years of relevant work experience preferred. Required Skills: Design: Digital & Analog design, Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, HART, Li-Ion Batteries, Foundation Fieldbus (preferred), and Wireless Design (preferred). Regulatory Compliance: Intrinsic Safety (UL/IEC/EN 60079-11), UL, CSA, IEC, CE, RoHS, WEEE, REACH, FCC, HART, and Foundation Fieldbus. Development Environments: Altium Designer, PSIPICE, AutoCAD, Or CAD. Processors & Microcontrollers: ARM, NXP i.MX, Texas Instruments MSP430, FPGA (preferred). Operating Systems: FreeRTOS, Linux (Yocto Project) (preferred). Programming Languages: C, C++, and ASM. Tools: Hand tools, Soldering Rework Station, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Power Supply, Function Generators.
