Seeking a Business Development Manager for a technology and data-driven engineering design firm headquartered in Nampa, Idaho. The firm works with clients across the United States to combat the affordable housing crisis by reimagining construction with world-class innovation. They define success by constructability and achieve it through highly coordinated BIM models and a carefully executed quality control plan.

This position will be in the Fort Worth, Texas office. The role reports to the Nampa, Idaho office, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work as needed.

As a member of our sales team, you will contribute to our mission by:

  • Managing sales channels in a defined geography.
  • Developing and managing the sales pipeline.
  • Implementing effective sales strategies tailored to the designated region.
  • Identifying strategic opportunities for PFL MEP in both conventional and modular construction.
  • Monitoring and managing sales progress, providing accurate and documented quarterly and yearly forecasting while developing long-range tactics for growth.
  • Collaborating within the organization and industry to stay informed about new projects and opportunities supporting our company and customers.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in business-to-business sales, with strong existing relationships and knowledge within the architectural community.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales management experience (BDM, BDE, National accounts).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the MEP or construction industry.
  • Modular construction knowledge.
  • Possess the personality traits of integrity, optimism, empathy, compassion, and confidence.

Skills and Abilities

  • Inquisitive, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a sales-oriented attitude and a proven sales aptitude.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, coupled with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with a focus on interpersonal relationships, adaptability, and customer advocacy.
  • Consistently achieve mutually identified sales targets.
  • Ability to use subject matter expertise to support the leadership team in making sound decisions related to MEP growth strategy.
