The Manager, FP&A role will report to the CFO and work closely with the CEO and be focused on forecasting, budgeting, reporting, strategic planning, decision support, accounting close activities and analytics. Qualified candidates must be able to execute multiple work-streams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and remain open to new projects and/or responsibilities as the business evolves growth and acquisition. Experience with dashboarding tools will be a plus. Candidates must have a strong attention to detail, ability to effectively business partner across functions, drive decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills. Must be proactive and deadline oriented.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of monthly and quarterly financial reporting under both GAAP and Non-GAAP measures by working closely with FP&A and Accounting team
- Lead the consolidation of operating plans, forecast and Long-Range plans
- Support enhancement of the FP&A platform and PowerBI reporting
- FP&A lead on data hierarchies and structures
- FP&A support to the Business for designated areas. Provide explanations of monthly variances versus expectations to Management for designated areas
- Support transition to a rolling forecast
- Perform quarter end close management
- Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting, presentations to Management
- Perform ad hoc analysis as required
- Assist in the evaluation of acquisition targets
EDUCATION Minimum Required: BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or equivalent practical experience Preferred: MBA, CMA or CPA EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: 5+ years experience in FP&A, Consumer Goods Industry a plus Experience handling Commercial and SAAS FP&A is a plus. Experience with FP&A Planning systems. Minimum Required: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience in building models a plus A hands-on business partner attitude, who enjoys challenges and thrives in a demanding environment Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere and high-profile environment with minimal supervision Resilience and flexible attitude Focused on solutions, practical implementation, and goals Good understanding of finance terminology, concepts and tools Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing
