Architect Designer

Are you creative Architect designer who is seeking a challenging role where you can make a difference?

In the role of the Architect Designer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of new buildings, as well as the renovation and restoration of existing structures. You will have a thorough understanding of architectural principles and be able to translate clients' visions into feasible designs.

Use your creativity to:

• Designs architectural projects and collaborate with team in planning, design and construction.
• Apply principles and detail to perform design computations, specifications, and compiles data.
• Interprets and applies IBC and requirements of regulatory agencies.
• Prepares documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building sections and details and participate in client meetings
• Responsible for project coordination and meetings with managers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Architecture degree required. Masters a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Architectural Design
• AIA Registered Architect, preferred - will consider a recent grad working towards AIA or RA.
• Understanding of all phases of architectural document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator you will work with project teams in all phases of production.
• Ability to conduct space planning, block planning and adjacencies in coordination with building program and collaborate with project teams in all phases of production.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp preferred.

Salary range: $90-115 DOE
