Do you currently work as a HGV Class 1 Driver? Are looking for a new permanent role within the Nottingham area?

First Call Contract Services are currently looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers for our clients nationally recognised recycling operation based in Nottingham, NG2.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a nationally recognised organisation on a permanent basis.

Immediate interviews & starts are available.

Candidate duties will include:

• Driving to collection locations on a set daily route, delivering recycling units
• Completing daily vehicle checks in line with company & driving compliance
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly
• Ensuring all traffic laws, legislation, and EU driving regulations are complied with in line with company & external guidelines

Candidate experience will include:

• Hold a current HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence (HGV Class 2 experience will be considered)
• Hold an up to date CPC card
• Hold a Digi / Tacho card
• Have a flexible approach to working hours & time management
• Be able to coach and mentor new drivers within the organisation

Hours or work are a rota basis, 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 6.00am to 6.00pm or 7.00am to 5.00pm depending on vehicle and shift.

Depots are in NG2, NG17, NG24, NG19 and S81-1 hour travel will be paid if any shifts are to run out of these locations.

The company is operational 7 days a week.

Starting salary is around £32kpa + excellent company benefits including overtime, days off in lieu, cycle to work scheme & additional training & development.
