leading and coordinating process improvement initiatives acrossthe Finance function Additionally this role will have direct accountabilityfor overseeing the Group Tax Treasury Group Controllership Procurement &ESG and a dotted line responsibility for the Finance Operations teamsppbrppemstrongstrongKey responsibilities of this role includestrongstrongempul liLeadership of the Global Finance Team (equivalent to Group FD role in other businesses)li liWider leadership across the Finance function as the number to the Group CFO deputising for the CFO when needed and ensuring smooth day to day running across the finance teamsli liResponsibility for overseeing and driving forward the Global Finance Transformation Programme you will coordinate key programme team members to design and execute transformational initiatives within our finance function You will play a crucial role in redefining and optimising our financial processes systems and capabilities on a global scale to ensure they are designed to be scalable and aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the finance function This will include line management of an interim Finance Transformation Programme Director and management of other suppliers engaged for the Finance Transformation Programmeli liLeadership of the Group Treasury Tax Controllership and Procurement & ESG teams including development of longterm strategies to optimise the groups financing banking effective tax rates accounting procurement and ESG goals driving a customer centric mindset to services provided across all operating companiesli liOversight of the Global Finance Operations team as the key customer reviewing performance against SLAs and objectives set with a dotted line responsibility for the Finance Operations Directorli liRisk Mitigation Take full responsibility across the group for ensuring internal controls and risk management processes are effective to ensure compliance with all financial regulations tax legislation and best practicesli liProcess Optimisation Lead efforts to streamline financial processes enhance efficiency and drive automation across the finance function including areas such as accounting reporting and financial planningli liSystem Modernisation Drive the implementation of our new finance system Microsoft Dynamics to ensure this is embedded within teams to improve data accuracy accessibility and reporting capabilitiesli liChange Management work with change team to execute change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies working closely with crossfunctional teamsli liData Analytics Leverage advanced data analytics to provide actionable insights and support datadriven decisionmaking within the global finance function and support with effective insights where needed across the organisationli liCost Optimisation Identify opportunities for cost reduction and optimisation within the finance function while maintaining highquality financial servicesli liTalent Development Attract develop and retain top talent within the finance transformation team fostering a culture of continuous learning and growthli liStakeholder Communication Collaborate closely with senior leadership and business partners to communicate the progress and impact of finance transformation initiativesli liProject Management Oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and according to defined objectivesli liExperience of leading and managing teams to delivery and ongoing performance management and encouraging teams to evolve their ways of workings liulpemstrongstrongstrongKey skills and experience to be evidenced within your application includestrongstrongstrongempul liStrong academic record preferably with a businessfocus and ideally with a Finance qualification (eg ACA ACCA CIMA AAT)li liPrevious experience of overseeing Group Treasury Tax and Accounting teams on a global scale is preferred (covering Americas APAC and EMEA regions)li liPrevious experience of overseeing a Finance Transformation Programme is preferred including system replacement and global refinement of services and processes li liPrevious experience of working in a fastmoving entrepreneurial environment is preferred (the travel airport or loyalty sectors would be an advantage but not essential)li liHighly developed interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style to enable fast building of effective relationshipsli liKnowledge and experience of Finance process design with an understanding of what excellence looks likeli liExperience of facilitating workshops and resolving issues as needed to maximise resultsli liBe able to distil complex problems in a clear easy to understand wayli liExcellent spoken and written communication and the ability to lead and inspire others to make changesli liProven leadership and management acumen including development of talentli liHigh proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPointli liAbility to demonstrate and operate in line with Collinsons core valuesli liAbility to deal well with ambiguity and to shape a direction for wider finance group and our own teamli liAbility to generate their own work with building and maintaining internal and external relationshipsliliChange management and project management
