pBusiness Development Managers close new sales deals across their assigned region Where directed by management this may be targeted at a particular market or industryppstrongRole ResponsibilitiesstrongppstrongAccount planningstrongpulliAchieve revenue & margin targets from new customers on a monthly quarterly and annual basisliliCreate and maintain documented account development plansliliWork with marketing or other internal departments to proactively identify and target customersliliBuild sales approaches for specific customer accountsliliDevelop and maintain an adequate pipeline of opportunitiesliliProvide accurate forecasting of opportunities by effectively progressing sales opportunitiesliliKeep internal systems and contacts up to date with progressliulpstrongCustomer relationships & satisfactionstrongpulliRegularly meet and build effective relationships with existing and potential customersliliDrive the promotion and sale of additional services to or through the customerliliMaintain a detailed knowledge of customer objectives and key personnelliliSet customer expectations during sales delivery and throughout the contractliliCoordinate internal teams to deliver to customer expectationsliliEscalate on behalf of the customer as requiredliulpstrongBidtender managementstrongpulliWork closely with presales delivery support and any bidrelated teams to effectively create sell and deliver new business winsliliMotivate and coordinate any virtual bid team to deliver a quality bidtender ahead of deadlinesliliQualify prospective customer accounts fully in order to ensure all likely customer questionsinterests are addressed constructively during the sales processliliTake overall responsibility for delivering any assigned opportunities whether directly managed or through a bid teamliulpstrongProduct and sales expertstrongpulliMaintain a broad understanding of key products and technology relevant to our servicesliliMaintain a good understanding of industry developmentsliliIllustrate business advantage of our products and services to customers and other sales colleaguesliliContribute thought and expertise to brandmarketing activities as requiredliliMentor and advise other sales colleagues in order to assist their developmentclosing of opportunitiesliul
