pITAB UK is developing its Sales Team and is seeking a qualified handson and energetic person ready for their next career movebrppstrongAbout the positionstrongppKey Account Management (KAM) leads the relationship between the business and our major clients The KAM is tasked with developing the strategic account plan in order to create demand and manage existing opportunity across ITABs broad solution portfolio and to create strong and lasting relationships at a Senior level within the Retailer using Insight and expertise developing a solution focused approachppstrongJob Description this role will include but not be limited tostrongbrppThe main objective of the Key Account Manager is to act as the lead for all customer facing activity for one of ITABs major clients operating across a wide network of functions and stakeholders in order to achieve sales and profit targets through expert Retail knowledge and a passion for salesppThe Key Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with ITABs major clients and will work closely with various internal business departments within the UK and across Europe in order to communicate any opportunity within the account and generate support required to convert The Key Account Manager is responsible for accurate forecasting and P&L control along with additional customer focused KPIsppThe Key Account Manager will represent the entire range of ITAB solutions leading the strategic account plan aligning the Retailers key objectives to ITAB solutions ensuring that the clients needs and expectations are exceededppstrongWe Ask strongppRetail Awareness and Insight The ability to understand the Retail trends gathered through market research store focused insight and consumer behaviour are key to the success of the KAM Using awareness of the Retail sector insight and being able to translate into opportunity is a key success factor of this roleppAn indepth working knowledge of Retail is paramount in order to use insight and expertise and translate into challenging and return on investment focused solutions along with the ability to present and share through a consultative approachppAccount Management & Maintenance The KAM is tasked with managing and maintaining their key client account In this role the Key Account Manager maintains knowledge and awareness of competing productsservices discount and pricing structures client buying and decisionmaking processes and overall strengths and weaknesses in order to determine how best to both respond to and create new demand This could also involve a close working relationship with other ITAB Regions if the major client is based in multiple CountriesppThe Key Account Manager also maintains the CRM system in detail and participates in regular sales reviews in conjunction with the Sales Director VP of Sales and other Senior Leadership Team The Key Account Manager also maintains data and information relevant to key accounts for the purpose of conducting analysis that influence accountspecific and wider business decision makingppOpportunity The Key Account Manager is also responsible for the generation of business in the assigned accounts as well as supporting new accounts for the business The Key Account Manager assists in the identification and evaluation of business opportunities in line with the ITAB Business Filter and the VP of Sales Sales DirectorppStrategy The Key Account Manager plays a major strategic role by implementing sales strategies that lead to high consumer satisfaction building awareness and credibility with the key clients In conjunction with senior account management the Key Account Manager leads the strategic account planning process ensuring alignment to the Retailers Strategic objectives to the current and future ITAB proposition focusing on target delivery and CRM tracking and managementppExperience The ideal applicant should have at least years of Senior Level Retail experience or Retail focused Key Account Management experience in addition to showing aptitude to quickly learn and develop an understanding for relationship sales The candidate will have proven problem solving and decisionmaking skills and will also demonstrate sales experience possessing an ability to drive sales and exceed business targetsppInterpersonal Skills The Key Account Manager must be a committed and goal orientated individual be customer focused have a positive cando attitude be comfortable working in a fastpaced environment whilst maintaining a calm and patient outlook whilst being able to demonstrate composure during challenging scenariosppPeople Skills People skills are also necessary for the position and be both likable and relatable to establish strong and meaningful connections with consumers on behalf of ITAB The ability to converse with Retailers about Retail is an essential part of the KAM role being able to see the opportunities through the eyes of the Retailer Partner and ConsumerppstrongWe
