Call Response Time: 15 mins
Call Ratio: 1:1
Patient Volume: 8-10 (both IP/OP)
Admissions Required: Yes
Rounding Included: Yes
Support Staff: 1 MA, 3 NP/PAs, 1 Office Staff
Required Procedures:
- General CV/thoracic surgery, Coronary artery bypass surgery
- Congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc)
- Valvular and Aneurysm repair, Chest wall or pleural procedures
- Permanent pacemaker placement, AICD (Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator), Left ventricular assist devices
- TAVR, CABG, Vent Management, Bronchoscopy
- Eval. and mgmt of acute vol/BP issues
- Insertion of (Central line, Arterial line, PA Catheter & IABP)
- General Vascular surgery, Aneurysm repair - aorto-abdominal, Bypass procedures - aorto-femoral/iliac, Endarterectomy, Subclavian steal procedures.
Trauma Level: II
EMR: Cerner
Other Info:
- Required to Supervise APPs
- May see a few office patients during the day.
- Locum will be the only surgeon on site
- Locum will be the only surgeon on site

Temporary Privileges available: Yes
Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Active WI License or IMLC
BC/BE
ACLS, BLS
