Contribute to the development and implementation of operations strategy and policies and procedures in line with Barwa’s business strategies and good international practices.
▪ Participate in the preparation and implementation of the annual budget for the operations function and ensure compliance with the approved budget.
▪ Periodically review and submit operations budget reports to the Group Chief Development Officer and advise on the measures that should be undertaken to ensure proper budgetary controls.
▪ Communicate business targets as well as key strategic initiatives to the operations team.
▪ Support and provide inputs, as applicable, during the planning and execution of projects and review the project plans and concepts for key projects, if requested to do so.
▪ Develop and maintain appropriate systems for measuring the necessary aspects of business operations.
▪ Oversee the functioning of the Property Management Services Provider and monitor their performance to ensure achievement of operational objectives in line with the overall business objectives.
▪ Develop strong relationships with key partners in the real estate industry, existing and potential clients and market participants.
▪ Manage strategic clients and ensure they receive superior services and support.
▪ Participate in pricing decisions and support negotiations and contracting with clients and service providers.

▪ Work towards increase in capital value of each development by improvements in tenant mix and tenant offerings.
▪ Improve tenant communication through regular tenant meetings throughout the length of the lease, newsletters and tenant surveys.
▪ Create customer service program with focus on tenant retention.
▪ Liaise with the Communications team as well as the Asset Management team to ensure that the marketing plans for projects are in line with the operation plans and objectives.
