Greater Talent Group has an exciting opportunity for a VP of Sales to join a dynamic and driven team at a Series B SaaS company. This is an opportunity for someone to make an impact on the bottom line and help capitalize on market opportunities aligned with our growth strategy. You will develop growth plans, lead the team, and drive revenue through existing customers and new prospects. You will work with leaders from across the organization to align resources to create a predictable and reportable revenue acquisition model.

  • Overall responsibility for all new business sales, especially to ICP Prospects
  • Develop go-to-market strategies in a variety of segments by aligning internal teams including marketing, product, delivery, customer success and services
  • Develop and maintain an outbound strategy that drives ICP pipeline growth
  • Understand the competitive landscape (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) and determine how to position Athennian to win
  • Target new strategic Partnership opportunities and grow partnerships already in place
  • Surface valuable analysis and thoughtfully articulate insights, action items, considerations, etc. to the executive team that drive continual growth
  • Take ownership of the sales process and build a world class sales function
  • Oversee and guide one-one-one and team pipeline reviews, deal strategy sessions, meetings, and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement, goal attainment, sales process adherence, and predictability
  • Create forward-looking departmental plans supported by data to drive our future growth targets, including optimizing processes, forecasts, software and people
  • Define and manage territories, set quotas, and manage other aspects of the department to help support the achievement of our goals
  • Manage team skill development and coaching for improved performance across the entire team
  • Ensure sales reports and other internal data are provided to the sales organization and company leadership.
  • Establish a set of key KPIs that will provide insight into the overall value and success of your work
We are looking f
  • 10+ years in a SaaS sales, sales leadership, key accounts, and key partnership growth preferred
  • Track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally, and as a sales leader
  • Skilled at business planning and diligent at measuring and communicating progress toward the plan, identifying roadblocks, and coming up with appropriate solutions
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to build strong business partnerships both outside, and within the organization
  • Success leading sales teams in a fast-growing SaaS enterprise company
  • Ability to establish a marketing strategy to support sales targets
  • Must be able to work and communicate in a concise manner across the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners
  • Strong project management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to multitask with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Autonomy and willingness to travel frequently
