Manufacturing Technician

Location: Charleston, SC

We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician for our well-established client. In this pivotal role, you will be primarily responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance aspects of our production processes, with a strong focus on optimizing equipment and systems for peak performance.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), interpreting electrical schematics, and utilizing multimeters.
  • A solid understanding of voltage measurement and control.
  • A dedicated commitment to continuous improvement and the optimization of processes within our production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your mechanical and electrical expertise to troubleshoot and maintain mobile equipment products.
  • Apply your programming skills to configure and fine-tune parameters in a variety of truck types, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Execute mechanical and electrical tasks on products to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with our Industrial Engineering team to enhance processes, minimize wastage, and drive ongoing improvement initiatives within our production operations.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and effectively resolve electrical system issues in mobile and other operational equipment.
  • Analyze and interpret electrical schematics and drawings to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and system enhancements.
  • Harness your proficiency in PLCs to streamline and optimize industrial control systems, enhancing overall production efficiency.
  • Utilize multimeters for precise voltage measurements, ensuring the reliability and safety of our electrical systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
