Information Review and Release Analyst
We are looking for a Review and Release Analyst in support of a dynamic fast-paced litigation office offering a flexible work schedule, in the Herndon, VA area. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a combination of Technician, Case Management, and ad hoc tasks; applying critical thinking skills to a high volume of reviews varying in complexity; and recommending process improvements to meet Customers’ needs and mission requirement.
The candidate must have good communication skills, both verbal and written. The position requires significant coordination with internal components as well as other government offices. The candidate will be expected to draft formal memos. This position requires the analyst to organize case documents for legal counsel's review, provide counsel with an overview of the case, and answer any questions they may have.
Tasks to be performed include, but are not limited to:
- Review resumes, official biographies, and curriculum vitae for public distribution.
- Coordinate and collaborate with members of the Intelligence Community for review and release.
- Perform case management.
- Review documents to identify and redact information that is sensitive
- Review employment histories and coordinate reviews with specific representatives.
- Make decisions regarding alternative language to ensure that the documents are acceptable for release.
- Build rapport and communicate with requesters to meet reasonable deadlines and provide accurate responses.
- Provide support for ad hoc requirements as needed.
- Be adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment.
Required Education:
- A Bachelor's degree and/or high school diploma with 3 years of experience or 6 years of relevant experience specific to the skills listed.
- Candidate's resume must be provided sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position mentioned above.
