Engineering Technician

Gauzy is a world-leading smart Glass and ADAS technology. We are looking for an Engineering Technician to join our Melbourne, Florida site and to be responsible for specialized IE services including lean initiatives, capital project evaluations, plant capacity analysis, and more.

Located in Melbourne FL. 32901

• Working alongside engineers to design, build, and test solutions to a variety of technical problems.
• Using CAD software (Solidworks/CATIA) to update or modify drawings.
• Inspecting and modifying existing designs and prototypes.
• Conducting research, collecting data, and writing daily reports.
• Conducting experiments and investigations under the guidance of Engineers.
• Analyzing operations and offering suggestions for improvement.
• Maintaining records and assisting with presentations.

Requirements :

• Associate's degree in engineering technology or similar
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong time management
• Ability to collaborate and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Superb writing and presentation skills
• A mechanical and/or electrical background in aviation or aerospace fields is highly desirable
• Must have a working knowledge of Solidworks/Catia or similar software
• Excellent communication skills required
• Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.) is required
• Must be able to follow work instructions and interpret engineer drawings
