Business Development Executive
Lakeside HR Group is currently retained by a respected, privately-owned software development firm based in the Twin Cities to identify an experienced Business Development Executive (BDE). This client is a well-established Microsoft Gold Partner, specializing in crafting customized enterprise software solutions and mobile applications to cater to a diverse range of business requirements. From comprehensive requirement analysis to user experience definition, technical architecture, front-end and back-end development, they are experts in leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

As a BDE, you will play a pivotal role in uncovering new opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and driving new business growth. Your responsibilities will encompass managing and prioritizing sales opportunities, assessing potential clients' needs, understanding their business drivers, cultivating strong relationships, presenting innovative solutions, and facilitating deal closures.

Your success as a BDE will be self-driven, as you proactively target and cultivate strategic relationships with both new and existing clients, offering boundless earning potential.

Responsibilities:
As the BDE, you will take ownership of the entire sales process lifecycle, contributing to the company's growth across the following domains:
  • Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential clients.
  • Leading Discovery: Understand client needs and challenges.
  • Sales Planning: Develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Expanding and Managing Current Accounts: Cultivate relationships with existing clients.
  • Following a Sales Process: Adhere to established sales methodologies.
  • Closing: Successfully close new business deals.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Service.
  • A minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience, preferably in selling premium services.
  • A track record of consistently meeting sales goals and growing revenue.
  • Industry-specific experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with PC applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
