FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Overview
Our client is currently seeking several financial professionals to join their well-established teams in the California Bay Area; Seattle, WA; or Portland, OR. To be successful in this role, the financial advisor should be experienced, driven, and focused, with a dedication to growing a practice and providing a very high level of coordinated advice and service to their clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Onboard new clients utilizing various internal and external systems
- Service existing high-net-worth clients with assets in excess of $3M
- Demonstrate proficiency in sales to drive and close new business
- Manage client relationships via the integration of advice from the CFAs, CPAs, and JDs
- Work alongside individuals and businesses to meet long-term investment and financial goals of retirement, estate planning, and tax reduction
- Develop comprehensive financial plans and provide assistance to the clients in all phases of implementation
Requirements
- A 4-year undergraduate degree in Finance or other related fields
- CFP designation is required
- 7 or more years of related experience in the financial service industry, with a focus on financial planning or estate planning, preferably at a professional financial services company or wealth management firm
- A strong expertise in estate, tax, retirement, insurance, investment and cash flow or capital needs planning analysis
- Unquestioned commitment to integrity in personal and professional activities
- Highly motivated, with the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter with excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- The ability to manage heavy workloads and projects in a time-sensitive manner
- The ability to interact with a tight-knit team of professionals with a range of financial and tax activities
