CO - CNA or Caregiver - DAYS

Caregiver or CNA needed for dementia/assisted livingABOUT: Assisted living home + memory care - maximum capacity is 16 residents SHIFT: DAYS - 12 hour shifts 6am - 6pm - holiday coverage is possibly requiredRATIO: Our current staff/resident ratio is 1:5. EXPERIENCE/DUTIES: Working in an assisted living or nursing home providing ADLs and bedside care such as toileting, assist with bathing, minimal help with feeding, cleaning resident rooms & spending activity time with resident, such as walking with, talking with, singing with residents. Knowledgeable about the care of those with dementia, understands redirecting, distracting techniques. Basic housekeeping of resident rooms and common areas. Training May have been on the job, personal care provider or certified nursing assistant (CNA). A Colorado Med pass trained person is a plus (Colorado calls it QMAP- qualified medication administration personnel).CERTS: BLS and First Aid preferred (not required) - if possible Colorado Med Pass Cert as wellEMR: BlueSteps and will teach if not familiar.
