Position title: Azure Kubernetes Engineer

6 Months Contract

Location: St. Louis, MO (work is remote)

Responsibilities:

Azure Kubernetes Engineer:

Responsible for managing daily administration tasks as it relates to their Azure Kubernetes environment, including system provisioning, performance monitoring, access management, and version upgrades on a variety of Azure data platform technologies such as: ADF, setting up Azure VMs, and managing the Databricks platform.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain comprehensive and scalable DevOps automation practice for Java applications on Azure cloud platforms.

Design and develop the automation for AKS, Database, Service Bus, FunctionApp solutions.

Design and develop cloud observability solutions, dashboards, and alerts for multiple Azure services.

Set up system-level performance alerts and automate elasticity based on the requirements.

Demonstrate commendable knowledge of the Azure tech stack.

Azure, Docker, AKS, Kubernetes, Microservices, Kubernetes, Observability, Monitoring, PaaS, Jenkins, Automation, Configuration, CI/CD, Terraform, ARM templates, JAVA Spring, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Insights, Git flow, az/kubectl CLI, Splunk, DynaTrace, JSON and YAML scripting knowledge, understanding of Data architecture of Starburst, DataBricks, SnowFlakes, Immuta, Oracle, etc.,
