This position will provide therapy/interventions as prescribed in accordance with district and professional standards, will maintain records and documentation as set forth in the Individual Education Program (IEP); and is subject to ongoing student progress

Responsibilities include:

• Provide occupational therapy services for students with identified physical disability, motor deficit, movement dysfunction, and/or developmental delay which interferes with learning in the educational
  
• Program planning for occupational therapy or appropriate options for each Individualized Education Program (IEP) as a member of the Multidisciplinary Educational Team (MDT)
  
• Treatment and management of the disability based upon results of evaluation which may include direct and/or indirect therapy
  
• Consultation and education on a formal and informal level with medical and educational professionals, paraprofessionals, and parents regarding educational programming and disability information
  
• Administration of occupational therapy services within the educational environment (documentation, record keeping, equipment, space requirements, supervision of classroom and occupational therapy assistants)
  

Requirements

Master s in Occupational

Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive, and professional environment and work in a fast-paced

Must hold a current license and certification to practice in the state of

State Occupations Therapy license

Must hold ESA certificate as a School Occupational
