This is a Direct Hire fully remote opportunity with one of our Financial Services/Insurance industry clients.
What Impact Will You Make?
As a QA Analyst, you will be involved in testing a suite of SaaS products provided to the reinsurance and insurance industry built on modern JavaScript frameworks and C#.Net. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable crunching numbers and dissecting algorithms to understand, verify, and create test results. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Responsibilities include maintaining and creating manual validation test plans and participating in feature design. You will be joining a high-performing, experienced engineering team that produce quality solutions in a collegial, casual, results-driven environment.

What You Will Be Doing?
- Perform validation testing on web applications
- Perform validation testing on web services (REST API’s)
- Create and maintain thorough, effective, and concise test plans
- Document defects clearly and completely
- Create and maintain effective test data
- Participate in grooming of user stories
- Ask questions and challenge assumptions
- Create and maintain application documentation
What You’ll Need to be Successful:
Required
- Experience applying statistical concepts to solve problems in a scientific, data-oriented setting
- Understanding and ability to apply basic statistical concepts
- Ability to communicate and document complex technical issues clearly and effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of testing concepts
- Relevant experience analyzing, testing, designing, or building software
- Ability to understand algorithms and identify applicable test patterns
- Experience writing basic SQL queries
Desired
- Experience creating testing documents
- Experience using REST APIs
- Experience with automated testing software (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Protractor, NUnit, Appium, Postman, SoapUI)
