Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Finance, Accounting, or other related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or Corporate accounting
The Account analyst should have prior experience in Corporate Accounting and SEC reporting standards
Partner with Finance, ICG Transformation office and Operations on Balance Sheet policy adoption ensuring that fully represented and in line with enterprise obligations
Coordination of cross functional Transformation, Finance and Business teams to document accounting flows
Highlighting non-standard practices or omissions
Define product processor accounting methodology, designing how product life cycle events and GAAP standards are translated via accounting tables resulting accurate trial balance and GL journal posting
Define and validate any additional accounting requirements, and subsequent solution design, resourcing and prioritization
Ensure adherence with change management methodology for any enhancements
Including downstream impact assessment, design and execution of test cycles and release management
Design and implement appropriate Balance Sheet control framework to monitor, communicate, remediate, and prevent future defects
Drive internal productivity, standardization and process re-engineering, identifying opportunities to simplify both operational and strategic environment across accounting platforms
Primary responsibilities of this role include understanding clinet organization's current reporting and consolidation processes (Accounts Payable process as well as the accounting and reporting for payroll, benefits, leased facilities, fixed assets, Treditional Balance sheet, Cash Flow, etc) and propose process enterprise standard simplification.
In addition to ensuring there are strong controls in place over these areas of responsibility this role will partner with other functional areas across the organization to drive process efficiencies with a focus on consolidating the accounting and reconciliations for like processes into the Corporate Accounting team
The Corporate Accounting will also play a lead role in the implementation of Oracle Cloud as it relates to the Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset and Pre-Paid Expense modules (i.e., design, testing) and will lead organization wide training/education for employees utilizing the functionality within them (e.g., workflow, reporting, etc.). Finally, this position will be responsible for ensuring the accounting and reporting for the organization's deposit liabilities are well controlled and will partner with Deposit Operations on ensuring new product setup is well controlled and correctly mapped to the general ledger
The Accounting Analyst should have prior process transformation experience with Oracle EPM technology
The Accounting Analyst will assist in collaborating with the Corporate accounting and FP&A team during their internal business workout's or meetings to understand their existing process, guide and support towards making the right conversation and decision making for process simplification.
Build Cash Flow reporting
Bring in their earlier Finance implementation/Transformation knowledge and learnings.
Help finalize the requirements
Translate them into IT requirements which will help IT solution/architect accordingly
