Beacon Engineered Solutions is a leading provider of custom, engineered, precision injection molded plastic products, solutions and services located in Alexandria, MN. We offer a high paced, growth-oriented opportunity.

Essential Functions

• Efficiently and accurately read and follow work instructions
• Review Work Order
• Operate press to produce molded parts
• Follow Operator Instructions for the specific part criteria including performing quality checks, and any required SPC as directed by team leader.
• Visually inspect each molded part.
• Clip and trim molded parts.
• Pack molded part in boxes.

• Complete tasks that are asked of you by your Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Advise next operator of any information about press or molded parts.
• Follow all safety guidelines and rules
• Follow written work procedures
• Maintain a clean and organize work area
• Able to meet Beacon's Values of Accountability, Integrity, Innovation, Service & Teamwork

Required Skills:

1. Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs.
2. Good mechanical ability and attention to detail
3. Ability to learn quickly

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience on the use of measuring tools helpful
2. Good Math skills
3. Prior manufacturing experience
4. Self-motivated team player
5. Blueprint reading helpful

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Position has a variety of shifts. Shifts range from 8 to 12 hours, including weekdays and weekends.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED.
Training in general safety
Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience as a machine operator.

Pre-employment Conditions:
Successful completion of a criminal background check, physical capabilities testing and a drug screen.
