Role overview

We are looking for a Senior Engineer with a passion for AI and relevant qualifications to join our Innovation team in London. You'll lead a team of AI engineers, guiding them to excel, ultimately shaping our future through cutting-edge technology. Reporting to our Transformation Lead you will help define, implement, and support AI-driven projects that enhance efficiency and productivity across the Group.

As a Senior AI Engineer at Next 15, you will:

• Lead and inspire a team of engineers focused on AI-related projects

• Collaborate with diverse teams to define AI project scopes, technical requirements, and architecture

• Drive the design and development of AI-powered software solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices

• Oversee AI algorithm development, data modelling, and analysis

• Implement AI solutions and technologies for enhanced efficiency, productivity, and innovation across the Group and our brands

• Participate in hands-on coding, debugging, and problem-solving to meet project goals

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI technologies and propose relevant solutions to improve our product offerings

• Manage and optimise AI system infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security

• Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex technical challenges, leveraging AI capabilities

You will bring:

• A degree in computer science, engineering, AI or an IT-related subject

• Leadership experience within a development team

• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to AI such as Python, R or Java

• Deep understanding of AI algorithms, machine learning, natural language processing and data analysis

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries e.g TensorFlow, PyTorch

• Knowledge of cloud platforms e.g AWS, Azure and their AI-related services

• Experience with successful resolution of AI-specific technical challenges
