Required Skillsets:

• Strong knowledge of Splunk, especially Enterprise Security (ES)
• Experience in creating and managing Splunk Knowledge objects(field extractions, macros, event types, CIM, data models)
• Expertise developing security-focused content for Splunk, including creation of complex threat detection logic and operational dashboards
• Installing and Configuring Splunk in a cloud architecture
• Deep proficiency in client and server operating systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux
• Experience with Kafka Connect, HTTP Event Collector
• Experience developing and interfacing with REST APIs
• Experience with Ansible, GIT, Jenkins, Terraform
• Experience with Python, Linux shell scripting, and Regex
• Implement risk management programs for our federal clients by utilizing NIST, RMF, and FISMA compliance frameworks
• General networking and security troubleshooting (firewalls, routing, NAT, etc)
• Good knowledge of Amazon AWS products and services such as EC2, Beanstalk, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, Amazon FW, API Gateway, ELB, CloudTrail, and CloudFron
• Experience working with cyber security tools
• Experience with cyber awareness (e.g., phishing emails, cyber trainings)
• Must have active Splunk Power User certification
• Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)
