What s the Job?

As the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful delivery of Business Operations & Technology projects within our organization. This is a pivotal role in our company, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards


What will I do?

  • Leading the delivery and execution of Business Operations & Technology related projects
  • Working with multiple stakeholders to deliver digital transformation strategy for the business
  • Setting up a governance and overseeing the Data & Analytical Projects
  • Supporting a migration programme to replace legacy applications/processes.
  • Developing strategies and direct teams ensuring that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale, and resource budgets, and are signed off.
  • Proactively aim to achieve personal and team utilisation.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure clarity and alignment with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, ensuring efficient utilization and adherence to project schedules.
  • Oversee project execution, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and executives.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing
  • Team management responsibilities in a growing function


What skills and qualities will I need?

  • 2 years Project Management experience
  • Proven experience in project management within the retail industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
  • High initiative, high energy, passionate, decisive, eye for detail, confident
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Open communication/good listening skills
  • Confidence in own ability to challenge current ways of working, whilst delivering recommendations for improved process
