JOB SUMMARY

As our Fund Manager, you will take the reins of our investment strategies, leveraging your knowledge of the Midwest real estate market and your deep understanding of fund management. In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in syndications, private equity, debt funds, and hard money lending, as we begin to focus on self-storage and apartment properties. Your responsibilities will extend to managing a team of 7 direct reports across various functions, making you a core leader in our dynamic organization.

This position is not just about managing funds; it's about shaping our company's success and growth. You will work closely with the CEO and COO to develop and execute strategies that drive our company's objectives and solidify our reputation in the industry. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring our continued success as the sixth company in our portfolio.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continually prospect investors for strategic funds
• Ensure that clients understand financial options
• Meet with potential investors both online and in-person
• Manage marketing activities to potential and existing investors with the support of an internal marketing team
• Identify networking events proactively
• Utilize your extensive knowledge of the Midwest region to identify and analyze investment opportunities in self-storage and apartment properties
• Lead our syndication, private equity, debt funds, and hard money lending initiatives
• Ensure the successful acquisition and management of real estate assets
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and COO to develop and execute fund strategies that align with the company's objectives
• Manage a cross-functional team of 7 direct reports, including Operations, Investor Relations, Acquisition, Financial, and Administration

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of Fund Management in Real Estate, Private Equity, or Hard Money Lending
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Finance or related field preferred
• Ability to lead a team and effectively communicate across different departments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for investment opportunities
• Adept at building and maintaining relationships with investors, partners, and industry professionals
• Strong working knowledge of Google Drive and MS Office Suite
• Excellent writing, grammar, and verbal communication skills
