Staff Accountant

Your knowledge in accounting principles, attention to detail, and analytical skills will be essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build operational rigor through best practices to support financial growth and stability.

How you will make your impact:

• Contribute and drive the company's day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, reconciling accounts and preparing necessary accruals and journal entries.
• Financial analysis, ad hoc reporting to identify areas for process improvement and implement streamlined and sound financial solutions.
• Responsible for accurate customer billing and revenue recognition.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Coordinate and collaborate during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and provide insights into financial performance.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and we welcome applications from individuals at the outset of their accounting careers.
• Certified Public Accountant or enrollment is preferred but not required.
• Accounting experience, preferably within the SaaS industry is preferred
• Entry level proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables).
• Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Knowledgeable in internal controls and audit procedures.
• Proven analytical skills, defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement and/or corrective actions
• Team contributor who will collaborate and look for new ways to improve processes as we scale
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Self-starter and able to determine priorities with minimal supervision
