Job Overview

TheAdult Behavioral Health Therapistis responsible for maintaining a caseload consisting of clients with a primary mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse diagnosis.Regular working hours for staff areMonday through Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm. Evening hours will be required, and determined based on program needs.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Primary responsibility is to participate in the delivery of clinical services, including intake evaluations, and direct treatment for adults and families.
2. Assess and document the needs of clients who present themselves for outpatient mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse services utilizing Person-Centered Planning principals.
3. Provide individual and group therapy.
4. Work collaboratively with others in relation to the client and family including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, school personnel and other family service or support people.
5. Must meet all of the contractual requirements of the funding sources and/or agency, including maintaining State licensure.
6. Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings and case consultations.
7. Complete clinical records and agency documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies
8. Follow a professional code of ethics.
9. Coordinate effective discharge planning prior to case closure.
10. Complete 24 hours of training in the treatment of adults with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.
11. Other duties as needed.
Travel: Mileage Reimbursement when personal vehicle used - IRS standard. .64 per mile

Must have a minimum ofa Master s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure.

Pay is dependent on Licensing and Experience

• Full License: Hourly $27.78-$37.58 Salary $54,171-$73,281
• Limited License: Hourly $25.65-$35.21 Salary $50,017.50-$68,659.50
