Job Description

Hospitality Assistant

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, a full time (& possibly part time) position for someone with hospitality experience, who is well presented, dynamic, hardworking, ambitious, and would relish the opportunity to work as part of a small team, within the South Coasts only exclusive, member only Workclub , in the heart of Southampton.

  • Hospitality Experience: Proven background in delivering exceptional customer service within the hospitality industry ideally within a similar exclusive setting.

  • Presentation and Professionalism: Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and a customer centric approach.

  • Work Ethic: Dynamic, ambitious, and dedicated team player with a strong work ethic.

  • Versatility: Proficiency in member concierge services, guest management, food preparation, bar work, and event support.

  • Availability: Flexibility for weekday shifts (7:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and occasional evenings/weekends.

  • Ambition: Desire to grow with the brand and contribute to an innovative hospitality experience.

  • Passion: Genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to exceptional service.

  • Team Player: Collaborative and detail-oriented to uphold high standards.


As a valued member of the team, youll be responsible for delivering premium hospitality services to the 100+ esteemed members.

The duties will include:

  • Member concierge services.

  • Efficient guest and visitor management.

  • Food preparation and presentation.

  • Skilled bar work.

  • Assisting in event preparation and seamless delivery.

  • Ensuring an exceptional member experience at all times.

The details:

Position: Full-Time (Part-Time also considered)

Location: Southampton, South Coast

Shifts: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend shifts)

Salary: Competitive (National Living Wage, subject to age)

Start Date: End of October (subject to notice periods)


Interviews will be conducted before the end of September, with the role commencing by the end of October, subject to current commitments and notice periods.
