Our 700+ investors have joined us in our Funds to invest in over 17,000 self-storage, manufactured housing, and multifamily units across the US valued at over $500 million. JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an energetic and highly enthusiastic Investor Relations Manager to join our team as we scale from $125 million in equity under management to $215 million in equity under management by the end of 2024. The ideal candidate will be the point of contact of all incoming leads and be responsible for turning them into investments; In addition to tapping into their personal network of investors, as needed, to grow our network. This individual will be a public facing representative of the company with a passion for growing their presence. The main responsibility of this position will be to ensure the fund raises at least $90 million by the end of 2024 - securing their bonus - leading to the prosperity of the firm. WHAT WE OFFER

  • $100K base + bonus structure: based on capital raised
  • Share of success in the fund - Carried interest: 0.5% of carried interest in Real Estate Income Fund. This carried interest does not continue if this person leaves or is terminated for any reason.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiate daily new prospect and existing investor calls/Zooms/in person meetings
  • Presenting 1-on-1 and in groups and winning new clients
  • Handle incoming prospect inquiries and schedule appointments as necessary with additional team members
  • Hold quarterly investor review meetings with existing investors
  • Aggressively listen and engage in productive conversations
  • Use unmatched telephone communication skills to convert leads
  • Gather referrals from current Investors and Wellings Capital team members
  • Develop a reputation with investors for responsiveness, service, and positive outcomes
  • Utilize CRM and company tools/technology to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of sales and service efforts (Hubspot, InvestNext, etc.)
  • Maintain up to date knowledge and expertise in Wellings Capital funds and the industry/market overall
  • Consistently follow up and follow through
  • Requirement to come into the office in Lynchburg once per month for 3-4 days, travel and hotel accommodations provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven, consistent performance in financial services, wealth management, or private banking working with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth investors/their advisors (minimum of 3 years)
  • Real estate investment experience
  • Account management experience
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and consistent track record of performance based on results-driven activities
  • Strong servant-leadership qualities
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and internal team members
  • Proven ability to create and implement innovative solutions
