What impact will you have in this role?
We are hiring a Market Director for a leading IT Staffing Firm in the Austin & San Antonio market. This position will lead the sales and recruiting teams to meet and exceed client expectations through successful recruitment and delivery of top talent consultants. You will implement and execute effective sales and recruitment strategies to grow the client footprint and expand client engagement in the Texas market.

What will you be doing day-to-day?
  • Manages and is responsible for the overall delivery of results and performance of all sales and recruiting employees within their branch.
  • Responsible for training, on-boarding, mentoring and career development of direct reports.
  • Manage, guide, and engage staff with a focus on recruiting, account management, business development, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with HR on escalations and employee relations needs
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding production and revenue goals of the branch office.

What skills are required to be successful in this role?
  • Demonstrated experience selling technology projects and services, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas
  • More than 8 years of experience and a demonstrated technical proficiency in a wide array of technologies, including (but not limited to): software development and maintenance technologies, databases, cloud technologies, security, infrastructure support, and data-driven intelligence
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field of study
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Active and leverageable network of potential client relationships
  • Ability to interact well with customers at all levels within the organization, from first-line technical to C-level personas
  • Demonstrated previous success in sales and business development at a similar staffing firm
  • Proven track record of executing advanced sales strategies in large accounts, mid-market and emerging businesses.
  • Decisive; considers all options, seeks input, and makes difficult decisions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to stay the course in times of difficulty and remain motivated to accomplish goals in the face of adversity or challenge.
  • Deal effectively with pressure, remain optimistic and persistent, recover quickly from setbacks
  • Experience negotiating favorable contract terms for staffing and recruiting services
  • Experience leading, mentoring, training, and coaching sales professionals
  • Confident communication with procurement, HR, IT management, and VP/SVP/CIO-level executive management
