Job Description: Process/Production Engineer with ISO9001 Expertise

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Process/Production Engineer with a strong background in ISO9001 quality management systems, quality control, and process improvement methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively managing ISO9001 systems, conducting audits, implementing quality control measures, and optimizing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the ISO9001 quality management system.
  
• Coordinate and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to ISO9001 processes.
  

• Develop and implement robust quality control processes to ensure the consistency and reliability of products.
  
• Establish inspection procedures, sampling plans, and quality checkpoints throughout the production lifecycle.
  
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends, potential defects, and areas for improvement.
  
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality-related issues.
  

Process Improvement:

• Utilize lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies to analyze existing processes for inefficiencies and areas of waste.
  
• Design and implement process optimization initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce defects, and lower production costs.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement projects.
  
• Train and mentor team members on process improvement methodologies.
  

Growth Opportunities:

• Bachelor s degree in engineering or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.
  
• Proven experience (5+ years) in process or production engineering, with a focus on ISO9001 compliance, quality control, and process improvement.
  
• Strong understanding of ISO9001 standards and experience in managing ISO9001 systems and audits.
  
• Proficiency in setting up inspection processes, quality control methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC).
  
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and six sigma principles; certification is desirable.
  
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead root cause analysis efforts.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  
• Project management experience with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to implementation.
