Job Description
Looking for a part-time Maintenance Coordinator who will work on Wednesday and during the weekends. Must have basic mechanical background and experience in oil change, batteries check up, tires, belts, electrical system, etc.. challenged to do preventative maintenance on our gas and diesel engines. Qualified candidate will have the knowledge of how to inspect brake systems, transmissions, engines, steering mechanisms, and other vehicle parts. This position requires extreme attention to detail and able to wear many hats through the day. We provide training.
OUR FLEET INCLUDES:
- Trucks
- Trailers
- Forklifts
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify problems with mechanical, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
- Must have knowledge of record keeping and ordering parts & supplies
- Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment following all safety procedures
- Daily general maintenance.
- California 90 day BIT & Federal USDOT inspections
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Valid Driver s License with a clean record
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision and as a team
- Strong research skills and the ability to figure out unconventional problems
- Specialized training in the repair and replacement of vehicle components preferred
- Be available weekends
