Travel Agent

This is a remote position.

As a certified travel agent, you will be provided with the tools, training and support necessary to assist clients in coordinating travel from beginning to end. In addition, you will be working with a host of vendors, including major airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts and popular theme parks. You will confirm all travel arrangements, building rapport with clients, and fostering long-lasting travel agent-client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients to determine their travel needs and create a personalized itinerary
  
• Correspond with suppliers (hotels, cruise lines, etc.) to coordinate travel arrangements
  
• Make reservations for flights, cruises, rental cars, hotel accommodation, and more
  
• Take secure payments and apply them to your clients' reservations
  
• Attend live video and recorded training sessions to keep updated on destinations and travel industry practices
  

Requirements

• Must be US citizen, 18+
  
• Access to reliable internet and a computer or smartphone
  
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team utilizing time management skills
  
• Prior travel experience or work in the travel industry is a plus, however training is provided
