General Operator

You will be expected to carry out any reasonable task asked by the management that may range from cleaning duties, helping to load or unload vehicles, to helping out colleagues.

Tasks

• To be involved in the production of customer components
• To ensure safe handling procedures are observed when processing parts.
• To ensure all SCD s and relevant documentation are completed and signed
• To ensure all customer directions are followed, from drawings or PCD s.
• To ensure that the quality system is adhered to in order to maintain ISO9001.
• Ensure good, orderly housekeeping, in all areas.
• To enable the process of products to meet production scheduling.
• To maintain and comply with the company Health and Safety Policy, including the control of hazardous substances.
• To ensure all Environmental aspects, of your process, adhere to the company ISO 14001 Environmental accreditation.
• To maintain confidentiality at all times within the area of your responsibility.
• Any other duties that you may be called upon to perform by the Management.

Requirements

• An awareness of Health and Safety regulations is required
• Fork lift truck licence desirable
