Position: Marketing Ad Review Specialist/Sr. Specialist

Location: Golden Valley, MN

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Note: Required to be onsite a minimum of 2 days/week.

Job Description:

The Specialist/Senior Specialist performs advertising reviews of sales literature, marketing materials and certain communications for use internally or externally that discusses Client products and services for compliance with SEC, Client and/or State Insurance regulatory requirements and related company policies.

Demonstrates expertise in Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) marketplace and operates independently in assigned area.

Stays current on regulations, policies, industry best practices, etc., to provide ongoing guidance to business partners, manage risk and conduct quality reviews.

May be tasked with special assignments/projects that are outside the scope of day-to-day responsibilities and may be asked to occasionally provide technical direction to others.

This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills and ability to manage high volumes under tight deadlines.

• Provide subject matter expertise in review of ETF sales literature, marketing materials and communications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves routine issues, and feedback from business partners, independently; works on complex issues independently.
• Lead or assist in the maintenance and development of advertising review policies, procedures, and other process controls.
• Maintains financial services and investment management industry knowledge through various mediums.

What you bring:

• 6-7 years' experience required: Advertising compliance, ETF, Investment company and adviser regulatory requirements (SEC Marketing Rule, Investment Company Act of 1940)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Series 7 & 24 required or the ability to obtain within 180 days of employment.
