Production Manager Cook Plant - Ready to Eat

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the raw side processing environment of processed products as well as the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) area and packaging
  
• Manage daily production schedule to ensure production goals are met
  
• Ensure KPIs are in place and being used to drive performance of the team
  
• Interpret data through Excel and provide statistical information to the leadership team
  
• Utilize RCA methods in focus groups to ensure product specifications are met
  
• Provide mentorship to front-line supervisors in relation to both production and employees
  
• Manage department projects and budgets
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-yrs experience in managing a Ready-to-Eat product process
  
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, SOPs, USDA
  
• Regulatory knowledge related to processed products (i.e., USDA FSIS Appendix A and Appendix B)
  
• Food processing industry experience required
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of related experience in a management capacity
  
• Bachelors in Meat Science, Food Science, or a similar field Or equivalent combination of education and training
  
• Meat industry experience preferred; processed products
  
• Collaboration with external customers on process and product innovation or best practices
