• Coordinating daily tasks with Sous Chef or Executive Chef • Follow instructions and recommendations from line managers to complete daily tasks • Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation and keep up to date with new products, recipes and preparation techniques • Guide and lead subordinates through their daily food preparation requirements and actively participate in the preparation and supervision of buffets and special functions • Coordination and participation with other departments of requirements, cleanliness, waste and cost control • Consultation and verification of daily requirements, jobs and last minute events • Guide and train subordinates on a daily basis to ensure high motivation and an economical work environment
