Quality Supervisor

Summary:

The Quality Supervisor manages a quality assurance team within the distribution facility.Responsibilities include lead rework projects, overseeing product and behavior auditing within the facility, including inbound and outbound shipments; investigating product quality issues in the inventory as requested; collecting data and generating reporting to internal suppliers and facility team; and evaluating North American supply chain on quality metrics.

In This Role, You'll Have the Opportunity To:

• Maintain quality standards set by the company
• Oversee rework and product investigations, including opening product and evaluating packaging and product conformity and auditing
• Manage third party packaging and product testing
• Collaborate with the Israel Quality team on a frequent basis
• Collaborate with DHL teammates on continuous improvement projects
• Ensure any necessary corrective actions are taken.
• Interpret and analyze data to identify and address product-related issues
• Oversee 5 - 7 direct reports
• Provide weekly and monthly updates on projects and overall incoming product conformity

This position has responsibility to provide leadership and direction of the quality management system.

Position will influence change and be responsible for responsible for the implementation, execution, and improvement of our quality systems

Mentors direct reports to improve skills pertaining to auditing, communication, excel use and general data collection methods.

Provide support to the Quality Assurance Manager, Site Director on projects as required

Generate progress reports, track and report DPPM, use auditing software, oversee CAPA log

Communication and collaboration among global manufacturing, sales, customer service and customers.

Overnight travel on occasion

Requirements :

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelors Degree
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• 5+ years of experience in Quality in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Good understanding of Continuous Improvement
• Packaging and related resting experience preferred
• Knowledge of MS Office products
• Ability to think and act proactively
• Understanding of root cause analysis, corrective / preventive action
• ASQ certification a plus
