The Repair Technician will support the customer s field operations team in a highly visible role where you will have the opportunity to use your broad skills as a test technician working on next-generation solar inverter systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspects and tests products at various stages of the production process
- Operate and maintain inverter lab equipment including but not limited to Automatic test equipment, DMM, oscilloscopes, hand, and power tools, soldering equipment, etc.
- Capable of authoring technical documents including SOPs, rework instructions, process changes, etc.
- Perform and document inverter mechanical, electrical, and safety system testing with in-house equipment
- Support failure mode analysis efforts
- Support troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of inverter test equipment
- Perform inverter system teardown and remanufacturing procedures as documented or requested
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, reliability, and manufacturing engineers to suggest design and/or process improvements and address reliability issues
- Ensure the quality of products produced by performing testing of refurbished products while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements :
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- AS degree in a scientific or technical field; OR HS Diploma/GED with equivalent manufacturing experience
- Experience conducting tests in accordance with SOPs and or documented test procedures
- Experience with Operation of testmeasuring equipment.
- Knowledge of electronic theory and ability to read and understand component-level electronics schematics, diagrams, and written and verbal instructions.
- Have a proven track record of success conducting tests and be capable of processing and summarizing related data
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficient at reviewing BOMs, schematics, diagrams, mechanical drawings, and other technical documentation
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels within the organization
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Board testing or debug experience a plus
- Ability to identify, log, and/or troubleshoot issues that arise during production
