Senior Financial Analyst

Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst role, reporting to the Director of FP&A is an essential contributor to all financial reporting for the North America segment. This role has significant executive interaction and exposure to the commercial and operational leadership of the company. This role offers a unique opportunity to both contribute directly in the short term, and grow financial management and leadership capabilities in the longer term.

In This Role, You'll Have The Opportunity To:

• Provide meaningful business insights to optimize executive financials decisions through rigorous financial reporting and analysis capabilities
• Analyze, synthesize, and report sales and margin performance of the business, supporting the Director of FP&A in preparing and articulating core elements of the monthly reporting package
• Support key & essential elements of the budget & forecast cycles and collaborate with the wider Finance team to drive continuous improvement
• Analyze and report on overhead spending variances across the North America organization
• Opportunity to engage on numerous ad-hoc projects and to improve overall financial reporting & processes

Requirements :

What You Need To Succeed:

• Deep knowledge of essential financial principles and financial statements
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Very strong Excel proficiency
• Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets
• Proactive in looking for opportunities to drive both process and financial reporting improvements
• Excellent communications skills at all levels (written and verbal)
• Exceptional interpersonal and priority management skills
• A high degree of accountability, integrity, and attention to detail

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting at minimum
• 3-5 years experience in a Finance or FP&A role, supporting and reporting to executive management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) required
• Proficiency and experience with SAP, Oracle or related financial systems required
• A strong understanding of reporting, analytical visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau
