We seek motivated Bilingual Unarmed Security Guards to become an integral part of our team for positions available in downtown Los Angeles. The location is in Downtown Los Angeles in a MultiStory Apartment building.
We are looking for guards to fill in for the following shifts:
  • 6am to 2pm (MORNING)
  • 2pm to 10pm (SWING)
  • 10pm to 6am (GRAVEYARD)
Your schedule will be 3 or 4 days a week.
Security guards will perform various duties and tasks as outlined by contract requirements and site-specific post orders.
Unarmed Security guards will be responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Unarmed Guards will act as a visible deterrent to crime and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests, or employees at the site.
Responsibilities and Duties may include:
  • Monitoring CCTV of the property
  • Control access of tenants and guests, Check In Guests, Control the Number of visitors
  • Be able to save visitors' driver licenses until they return and make sure to give their DL back.
  • Text or Email our dispatch office daily briefs on how to improve existing procedures when interacting with tenants' visitors.
  • Assess and de-escalate situations when interacting with upset or drunk residents and guests.
  • Minimize to a great extent the need to call the apartment manager for every little situation.
  • Interaction with a variety of people including tenants, guests, visitors, employees, contractors, and the general public.
  • Be alert and watchful of any irregular situation that may be dangerous
  • Keeping track of daily activities and logging them properly in DARs(Daily Activity Reports)
  • Conduct patrols to ensure doors, gates, and windows are properly secured.
  • Patrol each floor of the multi-story building several times at night and during the day.
  • Hourly pictures with time and date stamps of your surroundings at the location.
  • Monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, drug use or infractions of property rules
  • Maintain constant surveillance of assigned areas.
  • Report any issues
Requirements:
  • Must Possess a valid Guard Card and have hard copy with Valid ID
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from all job sites
  • Must maintain updated contact information and up to 3 Emergency Contacts
  • Security Uniforms with Black Shoes must be worn pressed & clean while on duty
  • Ability to sit, walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Strong attention to Detail
  • Have a watchful Eye
  • Must be punctual
  • Minimum 1+ year experience
Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing, foot patrolling, approving/denying access to visitors, constant interaction with tenants.
