The Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Operation Officer, the Director, B2B Demand Generation and Business Development will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies that generate demand for our company's products and services among B2B customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the B2B sales process and experience in driving demand through various marketing channels. This role can be performed on-site, hybrid, or remotely.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive B2B demand generation strategies that include inbound marketing, outbound marketing, account-based marketing, events, and partnerships to drive revenue growth.

  • Build and manage a network of strategic partnerships with industry associations, trade shows, and other key players to drive awareness and generate leads.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.

  • Provide regular reporting on B2B campaign performance, lead generation, and ROI to the executive team.

  • Lead and grow the B2B Sales Development Representative team and guide and influence the Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success teams in regard to expanding B2B sales.

  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth including testing initial criteria of B2B leads in order to refine and identify the ideal customer profile.

  • Streamline and optimize marketing and sales funnels to ensure clear movement from the top of the funnel through MQL and SQL, to closing deals and making sales.

  • Work with the Marketing team to ensure martech stack is aligned and optimized for B2B lead and sales generation.

  • Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing and Product Development, to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field; MBA preferred and 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing and business development, with a proven track record of driving demand generation and revenue growth in a SaaS / Software & Hardware environment.

  • Deep knowledge of the B2B sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and handoff to sales.

  • Strong experience in inbound and outbound marketing, account-based marketing, events, and partnerships.

  • Proven success in building and managing a high-performing team.

  • Experience building B2B Demand Generation from the ground up

  • Leadership experience in scaling organizations with revenues of $20M++

  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations

  • Compensation in the: $140,000 - $170,000 base with a 20% incentive range, but we are flexible - commensurate with experience.
