Tharseo IT is a veteran run and minority owned business with a mission to deliver Oracle Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, Iaas services. We pride ourselves in being founded after a successful deployment of the world s first Washington DC Health Benefits Exchange, in 2014. We are currently seeking an EBS Application Database Administrator to join our team.


As an EBS Application Database Administrator, will be responsible for managing the Oracle E-Business Suite database during the migration of on-premises EBS applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and the conversion from SPARC Solaris to Oracle Linux. This role requires strong database administration skills and experience with EBS application migration projects.


What you ll be doing:

  • Plan, execute, and manage the migration of EBS application databases to OCI.
  • Assist in the conversion from SPARC Solaris to Oracle Linux, ensuring optimal database performance.
  • Work closely with the Senior Functional E-Business Suite Resource and EBS Technical Developer to support a seamless migration.
  • Monitor and maintain EBS application databases on OCI, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Implement database security best practices, including data encryption and access control.
  • Perform database backups, recovery, and patching as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues during the migration and post-migration phases.

What you ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Salary for roles at Tharseo IT varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set and level of experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $88,500 and $138,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Tharseo IT s total compensation package for employees.
