ERT-Armed Security Officer

ARDENT Protection LLC is looking to employ passionate & professional Armed Security Officers to join our Emergency Response Team. ERT members will promote the safety and security of our client s facilities, assets, staff, and visitors, and act in a supervisory role for various account and detail types on any given day.

This Emergency Response Team Member position is full-time salaried position, with weekly opportunities for extra assignments and pay.

Officers holding this position must possess a calm, professional demeanor and have extensive knowledge of the laws regarding justifiable use of force in Florida (Chapter 776). They must be able to exercise discretion regarding the use of weapons and the supervising Security Officers.

ERT Members are accountable for both armed and unarmed Security staff at one or more client sites. ERT Members must possess excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability and willingness to protect people, property and information. They help ensure proper staffing levels, uniform & equipment needs, and help with the training of staff.

If selected, your primary role will be to utilize your safety, security, and supervisory expertise to minimize disruptions for our clients, help maintain a safe & productive environment, and to support the Operations Management team with post/detail coverage and inspections.

Skills :

• Under the direction of an Operations Manager, ERT Members supervise personnel engaged in the armed and unarmed Security officer roles

• Provides site/detail coverage as assigned by an Operations Manager

• Supervises the day-to-day shift operations at one or more sites

• Assists in the implementation of access and perimeter control, operational procedures, and conveying and verifying security requirements

• Supervises assigned personnel, initiates corrective actions or Rewards, and completes daily activity reports

• Recommends updates for post orders

• Coordinates and plans for additional coverage and special requests

• When necessary, supervises the handling of unwelcome visitors or demonstrators

• Observe and report suspicious activities and persons

• Follow directions of supervisors and managers

• Respond to alarms and security related incidents

• Write incident reports and maintain daily logs

• Provide needed assistance to customers, co-workers, and client management

• Follow all Company Rules and Regulations
